Interested in learning how to get involved in a competition from the other side of the beer glass? By joining the BJCP, you can judge beers in competitions. Founded in 1985, the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) was formed to promote beer literacy and the appreciation of real beer, and to recognize beer tasting and evaluation skills. The BJCP certifies and ranks beer judges through an examination and monitoring process. One of the best way to improve your brewing and learn about beer styles is to join the BJCP.
