For our June meeting, we discussed the upcoming Santa Clara County Fair Homebrew Competition. Then we tasted seven great homebrews. Thanks to Stein’s and everyone who showed up.
– The Santa Clara County Fair Homebrew Competition will be held Saturday, July 27. The deadline to register entries is June 26. Entries can be dropped off at Clandestine Brewing in San Jose through Friday, July 12. Entries will also be accepted at the Fiesta Hall at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14. The Best of Show winner will get to have their beer brewed at Clandestine. Anyone interested in judging or stewarding can fill out the brief questionnaire at https://forms.gle/GMVkWT3NH7sPfV1n7 by June 30. If you’re willing to help with accepting entries at the fairgrounds you can contact Derek directly.
